Europa Plus PAT Tester

The Europa Plus is a PAT tester and then some. With its full compliment of tests and dual voltage abilities you can PAT test any appliance right there, right then. Installation Testers

 

IRT 1557

INSULATION RESISTANCE AND CONTINUITY TESTER.

The IRT 1557 is a small, lightweight insulation resistance and continuity tester. Hand-held, it’s a superb addition to any test engineer’s toolkit.

It performs measurements according to BS 7671 16th/17th Edition Wiring Regulations and Part P. Seaward’s unique integrated safety probe puts the LCD and test probe in the user’s line of sight whilst making measurements, no other tester does this. IRT 1557 is fully compliant with EN 61557 and IEC 61010-1 600v CAT lll. Automatic discharge of capactive circuits, it gives you automatic warning of the presence of hazardous voltages.

It comes with an easy to use rotary setting switch. The IRT 1557 offers voltage measurements up to 1000 AC or DC. With incredible robustness the IRT 1557 provides all the tests you need with a safe feel.

 

 

ERT 1557

ADVANCED EARTH RESISTANCE TESTER

The ERT 1557 earth resistance tester is suitable for use on 110 v, 230 v and three phase electrical systems, this special lightweight unit provides accurate Earth electrode resistance measurement without disconnecting the electrode. It can also be used to measure soil resistivity.

Earth resistance measurement is carried out using 2,3 and 4-wire method. The ERT has an internal memory for 500 test results which you can download to your conventional PC. Its user-friendly features include a large rotary dial for test selection, large LCD and simple push button test activation. The unit is supplied with four Earth spikes and full test lead set. The ERT is one of the most competitive Earth resistance testers on the market.

MULTI-FUNCTION INSTALLATION TESTER

The PowerTest 1557 is a multi function installation tester with integral probe, allowing the instrument to be held and the results to be read at the same time.

SDR11 & SDR35 HV Safe Discharge Rod

Rods for the safe damp discharge of cables or equipment under test up to 35kv

The SDR11 and 35 are safe discharge rods, designed to conduct the safe damp discharge of residual charge on a cable or piece of electrical equipment with volages up to 11kV and 35kV respectively by limiting the discharge current.

The SDR series features high grade glass fibre tubing and incorporates encapsulated resistor chains and are supplied with flexible cable with a heavy duty brass clamp for easy earth connection.

Note: The KD1E/19S is an AC Only indicator and is not compatible with the PH3 proving unit which has a DC output.

High Voltage Current Measurement

 

Halo Hook Ammeter

Halo Hook-On Ammeter for overhead lines

The Halo has been designed for measuring current flow on overhead line systems up to 33 KV. The sensing unit, encased in a moulded plastic housing, feeds a circuit utilising solid state devices in a fibre glass tube.

Using operator rods the Halo is hooked over the conductor, after 5 seconds the reading is stored and the instrument can be returned to ground level for the result to be recorded.

 

 

Type L Plus Current Clamp

Large Jaw Clamp

With its unique 100mm jaw opening, the Seaward Type L Plus large jaw current clamp meter is designed for the measurement of current in large diameter conductors and fuses.

With the ability to operate in the most difficult circumstances the instrument is capable of use on porcelain fuse carriers in distribution systems.

The current clamp meter is lightweight and incorporates high levels of insulation for maximum safety and protection, together with the facility to provide complete linearity of measurement between 0 and 2000A featuring 3.5� digit LCD and controlled using two main operating buttons. Incorporating both a TRACK facility providing a continuous read out and STORE facility to monitor peak levels, it is ideally suited to monitoring maximum demand in electrical distribution networks.

 

Proving Units

 

PH3 Proving Unit

A highly portable, battery powered proving unit for proving high voltage indicators, live line testers and digital potential indicators. This proving unit produces a DC output voltage for confirming the operation of voltage indicators before and after use.

Designed for use with potential indicators and phasing rods with domed contact electrodes.

 

 

PH3 Proving Unit - Flat Nose

A highly portable, battery powered proving unit for proving high voltage indicators, live line testers and digital potential indicators. This proving unit produces a DC output voltage for confirming the operation of voltage indicators before and after use.

Designed for use with the KD1E/19 and other instruments with flat contact electrodes.

Voltage Detectors

 

AGL-5 Airfield Ground Lighting Voltage Detector

The Seaward AGL-5 is a two pole voltage detector designed specifically for use with airfield ground lighting systems. The instrument indicates the presence of voltages greater than 50V AC and is ideal for proving dead on AGL systems up to 5000V. The unit is totally encapsulated in a high impact rugged enclosure and is IP64 rated. The ultra-bright high intensity red LED indicators and a polarizing filter make it clearly visible in all working environments.

The AGL-5 is supplied complete with a proving unit for proof testing before and after use and a protective carry case.

 

 

LLT Live Line Tester

The Seaward LLT is ideal for live line testing on systems up to 1100V DC and is totally encapsulated in a high impact rugged enclosure with high visibility cable. The unit is fitted with high intensity red LED indicators and a polarizing filter making it clearly visible, even in direct sunlight.

 

 

PH3-LLT Proving Unit
